A theoretical thermodynamic approach is proposed for discovering new binary and multicomponent solutions suitable for ATTs.
The work provides data on the physical and chemical properties of nine aqueous salt solutions and several surfactants, both currently used and recommended for ATT applications. Significant attention is given to the nature of corrosion processes in water-salt ATTs and methods for combating metal corrosion.
