Energy-Efficient Wide-Body Residential Buildings of the 21st Century
This monograph systematically presents conceptual foundations, theoretical positions, and design proposals for creating a system of comfortable, energy-efficient, wide-body residential buildings for mass construction. It also covers a system of wide-body residential buildings used in the reconstruction of existing housing developments, with the distinctive feature of incorporating 4-5-storey residential buildings from early mass series into their spatial-planning structure.
The work proposes a concept for secondary development of reconstructed residential neighborhoods and microdistricts, ensuring synchronization in time and space of new construction and reconstruction, unified within a common investment process for renovation and growth of the housing stock. Implementation of the proposed solutions aims to improve living conditions for citizens, enhance technical and economic efficiency of reconstruction measures for preserving and expanding Russia's housing fund.
