This study presents experimental and theoretical findings on the electric drive system of the delivery roller table in a wide-strip hot rolling mill. It introduces a method for determining the load torque component on the roller table motor caused by laminar cooling, as well as a technique for calculating the required load torques on each roller and the total motor torques based on process demands. A functional diagram and a generalized algorithm for an automated diagnostic and adjustment system for the electromechanical system are developed. The technical and economic efficiency of the proposed control and diagnostic systems is evaluated.
The work is intended for specialists in electronics, electrical equipment, and automation of metallurgical units, and may also be useful for graduate and undergraduate students in electrical engineering. The price for this resource is 3539.00 RUR.
